Best time to visit: March to May is considered the best time to visit. Temperatures are generally warm, and mosquitoes won’t be an issue.

Things to do in the park:

1. Hiking – Hiking trails in the park provide access for all skill levels and time constraints – you can see most of the park in just one day. **Be sure to check out trail information before heading out – many trails do flood throughout the year.

2. Kayaking & Canoeing -Traveling on Cedar Creek by kayak or canoe is an awesome way to experience the park. You need to bring your own because there are no rental options inside the park. Also, be sure to check the NPS Canoe Trail page for water levels, what to bring and what to expect before visiting.
